Traditional delicacies during Hari Raya Puasa

Hari Raya Puasa is a festive celebration and also the time for muslim families to prepare some delicious traditional food. I took this photo at one house showing family members involved in making goodies with red Bario rice etc wrapped with leaves. Anyone knows what we call this? Unfortunately I didnt have a chance to try one as they were not ready yet when I left. Looks like good natural delicacy full of nutritions.

Sebastian Ting and myself took a short detour to visit the construction of a new basketball court at Pujut Piasau Jaya during our Hari Raya Puasa visit to our muslim friends. Sport & recreational facilities in residential area are our important priorities for young people. The new basketball court will compliment the existing new futsal and sepak takraw courts in this residential area. ‘Thank you’ to YB Datuk Peter Chin and Sebastian Ting for helping to source federal fund for all these sport facilities. We do invite all young people to come to Pujut Piasau Jaya to participate in futsal, sepak takraw or basketball. They are cheap sports. all you need do is to turn up in your sports wear and shoes. And please love these facilities and help to take good care of them.
