There was a midnight fire at Pujut 8 on 16th November. 3 wooden houses were burnt. One house was owned by an Iban family of seven including 5 children aged 2 to 12 years old. The breadwinner was slightly injured while saving the children and wife from the burning house. He is a daily paid construction worker. It is expected that he will be out of work, and therefore will have no income, for around 2 months. Together with the Welfare Dept, Supp will render assistance to the family during this difficult time. There are also many generous people who have come forward to help this family. Hopefully, the breadwinner will recover soon enough to go back to work. Meanwhile, thank you all to Mirians who have come forward to render assistance.

YB, I awlways saw you around the town. it seems to me that you are very easy to approach. this is the first time I saw a state assemblyman appear almost at varies places in town. I salute you YB keep it up. Don’t follow others only can see them during election only and most of the time they are busy with their own business.(I saw you talking to a man for half an hour under the sun and he looks happy after talking to you)
