Handover
Supp Pujut Krokop cooked delicious home-cooked meal for the residents of the Miri Home for the Aged. Many elderly persons said that they had enjoyed the good home-cooked meal. The Supp members also gave the elders ‘angpows’ as we entered the traditional Chinese New Year celebration season. Well done all of you who have volunteered!
The Miri Home for the Aged is run by the Chinese Charitable Trust Board. It takes in elderly persons who dont have any children to look after them. As we left one room, a 90’s year old said..’thank you all for caring for old people”
An appropriate slogan on the wall reads, “thank you for coming with a caring heart”.
