To you and your family, extending my belated personal condolence on the demise of your dad.
Was out of town then.
Anyway your virtues will not take heart to my absence. Apologies will not suffice. You fine nature reflects what he had.
The Lord said, based on memory,"he who believes will not die but have evelasting life."

Andy.. By visiting the old people and cooking a meal for them is only scratching the skin of the actual problem and it is not sustainable in the long run. IMHO use your political strength to push doctors to pay weekly visit to the old folks home to do regular check up for the old people for free and maybe get pharmacy (e.g. Vision) to sponsor some medication for free as well. There are a lot of old people in the facility and it is increasing. They are short of fresh food and fruits. Everyone gives can food. Everyone only think about the convenient of themselves i.e. easy to buy and easy to deliver and easy to keep. No one really care about their daily living. Miri has a lot of reach people. Yourself included are very well off. Use your political strength and your fame to pull more support to help those poor and needy in Miri. Drive around the city center at nite after 1am and you will be shocked to see lots of old people and very young kids running around looking for a place to sleep on the street. I have seen some sleeping along the small alley along Yunlan Plaze. I see you are good politician (at least you are trying to be) and i voted you. So hope you can do something about our social issue. Keep up your good work! ;)
